Backed by our Certified Arborist, John Rogalsky, we use state of the art management strategies to improve and maintain the health and visual aesthetics of your landscape. We are committed to providing individualized solutions tailored to each customer’s needs and goals.
Property Inspections: Prevention is always better than treating a problem once it occurs. We recommend scheduling property inspections in the spring and fall. Once we are familiar with your property, we can identify common problems with key plants and develop a maintenance plan that works for you.
Deep Root Feeding: For a deep root feeding, we place a pipe deep into the ground near the roots of a tree or shrub, and then use a pressurized hose to deliver an optimal blend of liquid nutrients to the roots. The nutrient-rich solution is nontoxic and safe for pets, kids, and the environment. We recommend deep root feedings just before the hot, dry summer and the cold, snowy winter.
Soil Injections: Soil injections are a safer way to treat for pests without spraying a large area. Instead, a targeted treatment is injected into the soil at several sites equally spaced around the tree.
Trunk Injections: Pesticides are injected directly into the root collar at the base of the tree’s trunk, cutting treatment time to as little as a week and minimizing pesticide exposure to children and pets.
Integrated Pest and Disease Management: We know what types of pests and diseases are common in West Chester, and which plants and trees are susceptible to which issues. This allows us to create fully integrated management plans to preserve the health of your landscape.
Emerald Ash Borer Treatment: The invasive Emerald Ash Borer has been wreaking havoc on local ash trees since 2012, leaving behind such telltale signs as bark splitting, epicormic sprouting, and crown dieback. We offer trunk injections specifically designed to target this destructive beetle.
Spotted Lanternfly Treatment: The latest invasive pest to cause destruction in West Chester is the spotted lanternfly. These insects feed on trees with heavy sap flow, from apple and cherry trees to oaks and pines, leaving behind not only weeping sap, but also a sticky covering known as honeydew that can lead to mold growth. We offer a precise trunk injection that can provide results in as little as 24 hours.
Growth Regulation: Delivered as a soil injection, a growth regulator helps to control growth speed while improving health. Each growth regulator injection lasts for approximately 2 to 3 years.
