We bury a pipe near the roots of the tree, then use it to deliver an environmentally-safe, non-toxic mixture of optimized liquid nutrients. Using a pipe keeps the solution away from children and pets and ensures that it reaches where it is needed.
Soil Injections – Soil injections are another targeted option that directs treatment into the soil near the base of a tree to protect it from disease and harmful insects. At Rick’s Plant Health Care, we only use this in extreme cases based on need as these are less environmentally-friendly.
Trunk Injections – Trunk injections are the preferred treatment option for Emerald Ash Borers in Montgomery County. This approach involves injecting pesticides directly into the trunk of an infected tree where larvae feed. Trunk injections provide two years of protection from infestation.
